Comet My husband adopted Comet just before Christmas to give to me as a gift. He is the coolest, best cat in the world. He loves to play with my Siberian Husky. When it's bedtime he'll prance along the very narrow footboard of our bed back and forth just to make sure we're watching him. He loves to cuddle and just lay in our laps. We have had no "accidents" whatsoever so someone did an excellent job of litter training. I just wanted to say thank you for such a wonderful cat! Oh, and his name is Sebastian now.
Skylar Last February I adopted a dog named Skylar. He was a surprise birthday gift for my grandson. Well I am writing to let you know that Skylar is doing just fine. He has been a little blessing to our family. Attached you will find some pictures of Skylar. one is a picture at the time we brought him home, and the others are of him as he is now. He is 15 days short of his first birthday. I had wanted to give him a birthday party, but I won't be able to do so. However, I will be taking pictures of him on his birthday, so I will e-mail you some. Again I want to thank you for making the adoption possible. Sincerly, Myriam Ortiz Update: I am sending you a picture of Skylar, the puppy I adopted for my grandson, as I promised I would. This picture was taken on his first birthday, Nov. 22, 2006. He has really grown alot and I must say he is quite handsome. We are always getting compliments about skylar. He has brought so much joy into our home and family. This was one decision I will never regret. If for any reason you are unable to pull up the picture, please let me know and I will resend it. Hope you and your family are all well.
Buddy Hello, I just wanted to give you a brief update on Buddy and how he is adjusting to his new home and family. We have all felt so blessed since this little guy has joined our family. He has the cutest personality, and the best disposition of any dog I have seen in a long time. He absolutely LOVES to ride in the car, and we found out at Christmas LOVES to get presents!! He is very talented and smart. He can, shake hands, roll over, sit, lay down, go long (like catching a pass), sit "up", and sing a pretty tune. He is very protective of home and lets us know if anyone is around that does not belong. He has 2 beds, one that I keep at the end of the couch, and one that is on my side of the bed. When it is bed-time, he has a routine (and expects to stay with it!), he goes outside, then runs to the bedroom and stands and waits on me to say "get in your bed" and there he stays til morn. He is very nosy and expects to be right in the middle of whatever is going on (my husband says we need to tell him he is a dog.... :) ) Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking care of him until we were lucky enough to be the family that adopted him. Sincerely , The Gipson Family Tabitha, Bob, Samantha, and David
Ashton Ashton and his new mom! Due to neglect and undiagnosed food allergies, Ashton requires a prescription diet, currently eating a mixture of canned and dry but switching to all dry food. He also requires medication for these allergies. When Ashton came to our rescue, he was neglected and had lost 1/3 of his body weight due to these food problems.
Gazelle Today is our puppy's first birthday! We adopted her through CARE in March. We love her so much and are so glad she came into our life. She is so funny and very sweet! We wondered about her other siblings. I was initally told she was 1 of 13 (only 9 survived) born on taday's date to a pointer mother near Oglesville. Her and her brother were the last of the litter the day we adopted her. Her origianl name was Gazelle and Angie was her foster mom. I was also told she had been adopted with a brother, and then was returned to you (I cannot imagine how or why, but I'm gald she was!). Is there any way we could have e-mail or pictues to see or ask about her siblings? Let me know! Ellie is the perfect friend and family pet for us! We love her so much! Take a look at her now in the attached photos and feel free to share them! She weighs 75 pounds!!! We can't thank you enough!
