Tour for Life

North Shore Animal League America's Tour for Life is a cooperative adoption event that travels throughout the United States and works with over 100 animal organizations to help find homes for their resident pets. The goals of Tour for Life are to find loving homes for orphaned dogs and cats and to raise public awareness concerning the plight of all shelter pets. Since its inception in 2001, Tour for Life has placed many needy animals with excellent adoptive families and has educated the public regarding the importance of adopting pets from shelters.

We are calling on OUR COMMUNITY to help in an effort, an effort to make a change...to help save the lives of our animal friends. To help educate and make the community aware of how vitally important it is to take the necessary action to stop overpopulation of our animal friends. They depend on us to help them. Our goal is to educate the community on the on going problem of pet overpopulation and the thousands of homeless animals and to help find these animals homes. Over 30 rescues and shelters participate in Pet Fest. These organizations dedicate their time and money year round to care for these unwanted animals. Please help us make a HUGE difference for our animal friends and these wonderful organizations who put forth their hearts, unselfish dedication and hours upon hours of hard work caring for these animals. We need to take a stand against animal overpopulation and spay and neuter our animal friends. We have the ability to start making changes. Change starts with our community working together
