Lilly

Just wanted to give you an up date on Lilly. She is doing very well. She is a very loving and smart girl. We are enjoying her love and company! Here is a picture for you to she how much she has changed and grown. Just wanted C.A.R.E. to know how well she is doing & how happy she has made all of us. Annabelle

Annabelle is well and enjoying her new home. She was the hit of the day Christmas, opening her gifts, and visiting with everyone. She is such a sweet little thing, and Patti really is enjoying her. She goes just about everywhere Patti goes, except when ever she is going to be out of the car for an extended time. I am attaching pictures. I hope you enjoy them.

Watson

Just wanted to give you an update from our last phone conversation. Watson had 4 teeth removed yesterday. He had an abscess that had eaten his gum away. He also had the remaining teeth cleaned and the vet said he could only think of a couple of cases that were worse then Watson's. Oh my gosh, they look beautiful. And the horrible smell is gone. You should see him smile! And now for the good news. Watson came home and is a happier dog. He is just totally happy playing, running, and jumping. I can't believe it. I thought at first it was the drugs they gave him but no. I think that he was just in alot of pain. I'm so happy for him and thankful that I changed to a different vet that actually got him in and looked at those teeth. I also wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart. We are so blessed to have Watson in our home and our daily life. He is the best dog we have ever had. I have to say he listens better then everyone else in the house. When he was in surgery yesterday I called and checked on him twice. I think the people thought I was crazy. He is one of the family now and I thank you SO MUCH for giving us the opportunity to welcome him into our home. Take care and Be Blessed! Tara Smith and Family

Scout

Our family adopted Scout, a energetic, JRT from your shelter about half a year ago. We are always discussing how anyone could ever abuse such a loyal and sweet dog! He has been the perfect addition to our family we love him like he is a child. We are currently seeking an adoptable, female companion to keep him company, our schedules allow us to be with him almost 24-7, but when he is left alone he seems so sad. Thanks again for saving Scout's life and giving him a second chance at being part of a family who loves him! Attached to this email is a picture of Scout with our children. Thanks Again! Wilma

Umlaut (Wilma) is doing great. She's growing and learning like crazy. She's not 100 percent consistent yet, but she's learning fetch, sit, stay and some other basic things. Of course, she's also in the chewing/biting stage--we're working on that. But she is going to be a GREAT dog. Thanks! Dave Baird Anderson, Ind.
