Hans Here are my beautiful girls, Molly and Lacey! They are getting so big! They really liven up my life! Thanks for everything! Karen Lambert
Precious I just wanted to give you an update on "Precious." I have named her Molly and she is doing great! She recognizes her name already. We went to Petsmart and got all the necessities and several toys. Her stitches are healing nicely and we've gone to see the vet already. I got her flea medicine and heart worm medicine so we should be set to go. Her crate training is phenomenal, so thank you for that! She is so good when I have to put her in it; she doesn't whine or cry at all, just curls up and chews on her bone. In fact, I think I am more sad when I have to leave her than she is when I put her in there. She has a brand new collar and ID tags. It took her a little while to get used to them, but they don't bother her anymore. Her house training is going great. She's only had 2 accidents since I brought her home Saturday, and both of them were right in front of the door (apparently I'm just not fast enough to keep up with her!). She loves playing in the backyard with my other dog, Lexi. She'd probably stay out there all day if I never called her in. She's quite the little jumper. She just leaps around Lexi and then speeds away. It's adorable. She sure does love to fetch the ball! The first 2 nights she woke me up around 3 am to go out, but since then she has slept all the way through the night. I know I probably just sent you a lot more information than you wanted to hear, but having spent time with her, you must know what a fantastic puppy she is. I can't believe you were able to let her go! I really respect what you do for these animals and I am glad that you took such wonderful care of my Molly. Thanks again for everything! Christina Swaim
Rudy Just a note to let you know......without realizing it you played a part in providing a miracle! You choose to allow Polly to have Rudy and now as Paul Harvey says: here is the rest of the story....... This past week as usual Polly and Rudy were at her fathers taking care of him. It was a usual day and evening. It came bedtime and everyone settled in for the night. Polly tells us at 3:00 am Rudy started barking, which he never does she said. At first she tried to tell him it's ok and to lay down with her. He became insistant ,then started trying to pull off her covers, which ,by this point she was fully awake. First thought she had was the house must be on fire. She lept up to check the house, as she started past her fathers room Rudy stopped and barked again. Polly was concerntrating on checking things, but not to Rudys satisfaction and he proceeded to pull on her night gown toward her father. She said she could hear him breathing and knew he was alright. Started to leave and again Rudy got frantic with his barking, not wanting her to leave. In an attempt to quiet him she turned on the light to show her father to him, attempted to awaken her Dad but couldn't!! She had to call an ambulance to 911 him to ER. She intially thought her father had suffered a stroke in his sleep. Turns out he had a blood glucose of only 32 and the ER docs said had it not been for Rudy, this man would have been dead before morning! He literally saved this mans life in the middile of the night. Needless to say EVERYONE up there is releived. And well for ole' Rudy, Thom (her Dad) stopped by the store on his way home from ER and bought Rudy his very own T-bone steak and fixed it just for him. Just wanted you to know what was happening in his little world. Thanks again. Pam
Rootbeer Rootbeer has been renamed "Maggie" and she is doing wonderful! We move in one week to the new house and she will have plenty more room to roam around. She already sleeps in the bed with John and has quite a large appetite. She loves playing with string and has been very loving. We couldn't be happier with our adoption. Thanks! >Jeri Ann
Tiki Hello Everyone, We adopted Tikki, now named Tom, for our daughter Georgia on May 13th. WE are absolutely in love with this fine young fellow. We've never heard our daughter laugh so loud and so much! Georgia is already talking about the days when he'll join her at college, she's five! Thank you so much Linda for contacting us so quickly and for raising him to be the wonderful kitten that he is. Here are two photos for you to enjoy. Tom on his first day at home and a couple of days ago. Cheers! Susie Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
