Nicki
Nicki

Nicki is another dog that we had in our foster system for months and months.

She came to us pregnant and after having her puppies and raising them, we found out she was heartworm positive.

She did very well in treatment and is now fully recovered, all the pups were adopted, but we still couldn't find a good match for her.

She was adopted 3 different times, but returned over and over. When Anne contacted us she seemed to know the Airedale traits and had had Airedales for the past 20 years.

Nicki is going to be living in Michigan now, on a horse farm with other Airedales. This is the home she needed and we are so happy to be able to find her the perfect owner!

Freddy
Freddy

Freddy's story is perhaps our greatest accomplishment as a rescue.

Freddy used to live in a crate 24 hours a day. He would be let out only every 2 days to go to the bathroom.

He was finally abandoned by his owner who had him boarded and then never returned for him, while being boarded he gained 40 lbs!! And finally received love and attention.

CARE was finally able to bring Freddy into our rescue, he is now living with a young man in Broad Ripple (Indianapolis, IN). He has a large fenced-in backyard, a room in the house all his own AND his new owner lives right off the Monon Trail.

Freddy is finally in a normal, healthy home and is the happiest dog we've met.

Thank you Patrick for giving Freddy a home he never knew existed!

Shadow
Shadow

Shadow was a dog who came to us as a small puppy with unlimited energy!

As he grew his energy never waned and finding a perfect new home was a long, hard search.

Shadow finally found one! He now lives with a woman and family who simply adore him, he is training to become a search and rescue dog!

Hannah
Hannah

Hannah came into our rescue from the City Shelter. She was never reclaimed and CARE took her into our foster system. She was a little rough around the edges and hadn't been in a home very much. After 2.5 months in her foster home she finally found her forever home. It's perfect, a canine buddy for her to chase and play with, a large fenced-in backyard. A family who is home almost all day, two kids to give her the attention she deserves. Thank you Jeff & Tracy Bruce for giving Hannah the home she was waiting for!
