Lola

Lola was one of a litter of 13 pups (mom and dad both on premise, neither one spayed or neutered). Three of the pups died, 9 were sold and one was left---LOLA. Lola went to a local pet store We are unsure how long she was there but when her new owner went into this store she could not stand to see Lola in such a small kennel. She purchased Lola for $300 ! This young lady had no intention of purchasing a dog but did so anyway. C.A.R.E was called and she asked for our help. Ironically, we had Lola's sister in our rescue already! Katie came to us with a very severe broken leg. We were able to place both sisters in good and loving homes.

Beatrice

Beatrice was a shelter stray. She made the trip to Tour for Life and was adopted that day. She was returned for being too rough with the family pug. At Petfest she found her new mom, a former lab owner who has been looking for a lab puppy to adopt. We knew we had a good match for Beatrice so she is now in her forever home.......

Little Boy

Little Boy came to us from Southern Indiana where he appeared one day at his rescuers doorstep. She was in an auto accident and he was left with the older dogs for a month and a half while rescuer recuperated. He has found his forever home with a family who came to PETFEST looking for a big, laid back puppy. We had just the puppy for them!

Patches

Patches was rescued from a bad situation. His foster family had a lot of work to do to bring Patches to where is is today, a well adjusted, secure dog. His new dad saw the dog he had been looking for and Patches is now in his forever home. (Thanks Charlotte for all your hard work!)

Pepper

Pepper used to be an outdoor dog before he was taken in to our rescue. He slowly learned "indoor" manners thanks to the patience of his foster home. Pepper is now living in Bloomington, IN with a young man and his 2 roommmates. He has a large yard and a dog park just down the road! Pepper was with our rescue for months and months and we were so happy to find him a great new home. Thanks Ryan for giving Pepper a chance!
