Rose

I just thought I'd give you a little update on Rose. She is doing great! She spends her days playing and looking out the windows. She has a toy on a stick that she carries around with her everywhere. I usually wake up to find it laying on the bed. She's also learned how to play fetch! Whenever she wants to play she'll bring one of her mice to me (she'll only play with two specific toys) and she'll play for about fifteen minutes at a time. I'm also working on training her to sit on command... that one is still a work in progress, haha. But she's getting there! She knows she can't get her treats or food until she sits down, sometimes it just takes a little while. She's a pretty smart (but ornery) little kitty! I've switched her off of kitten food, my little baby is growing up! She'll be a year old at the end of the month. Hard to believe how fast the time has flown! Kaitlyn

Rudy
Rudy

Just a note to let you know......without realizing it you played a part in providing a miracle! You choose to allow Polly to have Rudy and now as Paul Harvey says: here is the rest of the story....... This past week as usual Polly and Rudy were at her fathers taking care of him. It was a usual day and evening. It came bedtime and everyone settled in for the night. Polly tells us at 3:00 am Rudy started barking, which he never does she said. At first she tried to tell him it's ok and to lay down with her. He became insistant ,then started trying to pull off her covers, which ,by this point she was fully awake. First thought she had was the house must be on fire. She lept up to check the house, as she started past her fathers room Rudy stopped and barked again. Polly was concerntrating on checking things, but not to Rudys satisfaction and he proceeded to pull on her night gown toward her father. She said she could hear him breathing and knew he was alright. Started to leave and again Rudy got frantic with his barking, not wanting her to leave. In an attempt to quiet him she turned on the light to show her father to him, attempted to awaken her Dad but couldn't!! She had to call an ambulance to 911 him to ER. She intially thought her father had suffered a stroke in his sleep. Turns out he had a blood glucose of only 32 and the ER docs said had it not been for Rudy, this man would have been dead before morning! He literally saved this mans life in the middile of the night. Needless to say EVERYONE up there is releived. And well for ole' Rudy, Thom (her Dad) stopped by the store on his way home from ER and bought Rudy his very own T-bone steak and fixed it just for him. Just wanted you to know what was happening in his little world. Thanks again. Pam

Rootbeer
Rootbeer

Rootbeer has been renamed "Maggie" and she is doing wonderful! We move in one week to the new house and she will have plenty more room to roam around. She already sleeps in the bed with John and has quite a large appetite. She loves playing with string and has been very loving. We couldn't be happier with our adoption. Thanks! >Jeri Ann
