I'm Caillou! I'm just a dog who is four; Each day I learn some more; I like exploring...I'm Caillou! Just like Caillout the PBS kid's character, I am a smart, loving, energetic young dog looking for a fun, loving and active family. I am a Brittany, and as active, personable, intelligent and large, as is typical of my breed. Also, typical, is my needs for lots of love and attention from my family, so I will do best with an at home adult. I am very social, good with all ages of people and would enjoy a family with other dogs. I only recently became a house dog, but I love it and am a fast learner, I am perfectly crate trained, don't jump up on people, and I am getting very good about my housetraining. I am tall enough to grab things off tables and from young hands, but otherwise I am on my way to truly stellar house manners. I am a hunting breed, full of instinct and energy, so I need a securely fenced yard and lots of exercise. I have been neglected, so I will always have some food issues, but those are easily addressed by an understanding parent. With reward-based training and patience , I could be the perfect companion for a person who wants a lot of love and attention. I am tall, but should only weigh 55 to 60 lbs once fully muscled up.
