Barney Boy is a jack russel and hound mix, approximately 30 pounds and one year old. His family moved away and left him behind. He lived under their vacant trailer all winter eating out of garbage cans. The children of the trailer park enjoyed playing with Barney Boy and kept asking CARE to rescue him. Barney Boy is smart, obedient and loves children. He is excellent with dogs, respects cats and is good with horses. He is a high energy dog who needs a fenced in yard but is not a barker. Barney Boy has a great joy of life; he is an unusually good dog.
