Meet Grixly! He’s a diluted grey mini version of a Labrador Retriever!

Grix came from an unfortunately terrible situation that has now led him into foster care. He’s come a long way with confidence since his arrival. He’s housetrained, kennel trained and dog friendly!

Grixly will need a patient home willing to give him time to adjust. He’s very shy and submissive from lack of socialization as a puppy. He has not one mean bone in his body and even though he’s still scared of human interaction, he shows zero aggression.

He does not like a regular leash around his neck, so his foster uses a harness instead. He does so much better this way.

Currently in foster care he shares a home with 2 cats and 6 other dogs!

Grixly is neutered, up to date on vaccines and preventatives.

CARE's adoption fee is $250 for dogs/puppies and an additional $150 spay/ neuter deposit where applicable. All CARE animals arrive in their forever homes current on age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, as well as microchipped.

Adopters schedule their own surgeries directly with any vet of their choosing with a surgery cost reimbursement of up to $75 (plus refund of the $150 deposit) when proof of surgery is received by CARE. Surgery is required to be done within 6 months of adoption (unless they have a vet recommending otherwise).
