Meet Duchess.
To no fault of her own Duchess’ owners have to find her a new home due to medical issues. Duchess has been raised by the family since she was weened from her mommy. Duchess is the kindest soul and would only hurt a flea if it tried to steal her food. Duchess is a food connoisseur who takes her time eating, enjoying every last morsel. Duchess likes to hide toys in her mouth or fall asleep with a toy hanging from her mouth .
She gets along with all types of dogs although she has never met a cat so not sure how she would react to one. When you get home she greets you with a wonderful howl song. She stays off furniture and is a well rounded good girl. She is of course house trained. She can get into a bit of trouble if left to roam the house alone during the day. Her family kept her in their laundry room while they were gone so she is used to work day alone times. Duchess has a powerful growl and bark so she is helpful in deterring unwanted guests. Duchess will win you over quickly and be your friend to the end. Her family is devastated over the decision they had to make but are grateful to the CARE organization to help find her a safe and loving home.
