Adopters have the option to schedule their own surgeries directly with any vet of their choosing with a surgery cost reimbursement of up to $75 (plus refund of the $150 deposit) when proof of surgery is received by CARE. Surgery is required to be done within 6 months of adoption (unless they have a vet recommending otherwise).

 

CARE is an all-volunteer and foster-based rescue organization. We do not have a shelter facility and do not have any employees monitoring inbound applications and emails. Applications are reviewed by each animal’s volunteer foster home. It may be several days before you hear from this animal’s foster home.  After someone does make contact, a timely decision will be expected since successful adoptions allow for volunteers to save more animals.   Thank you for your patience!
