Description:
Squirt came to CARE with her litter mate Smoke, while squirt is now almost 15 lbs she came to us significantly underweight at barely 11 lbs. She is steadily gaining weight and think she will be able to go home in 1-2 weeks. She likes cats, other dogs, and all things involving snuggles and playing. Adopters have the option to schedule their own surgeries directly with any vet of their choosing with a surgery cost reimbursement of up to $75 (plus refund of the $150 deposit) when proof of surgery is received by CARE. Surgery is required to be done within 6 months of adoption (unless they have a vet recommending otherwise).
CARE is an all-volunteer and foster-based rescue organization. We do not have a shelter facility and do not have any employees monitoring inbound applications and emails. Applications are reviewed by each animal’s volunteer foster home. It may be several days before you hear from this animal’s foster home. Thank you for your patience!
