Wendel is a typical puppy who's ready to play! He does not know a stranger and loves to be loved.  He has had a tough journey and is receiving the full spa treatment since arriving at his foster home.  Wendel has been treated by the vet for non-contagious demodex, hence the spa treatment (medicated baths).  Wendel will be a big boy when he grows up, so lots of space to stretch his legs will be ideal.

CARE is an all-volunteer and foster-based rescue organization. We do not have a shelter facility and do not have any employees monitoring inbound applications and emails. Applications are reviewed by each animal’s volunteer foster home. It may be several days before you hear from this animal’s foster home and you will want to watch your email carefully. Thank you for your patience and understanding as our foster volunteers work to navigate a very high volume of inbound adoption applications.

CARE's adoption fee is $250 for dogs/puppies with a refundable $150 spay/neuter deposit. All CARE animals arrive in their forever homes current on age appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, as well as microchipped.

Adopters have the option to schedule their own surgeries directly with any vet of their choosing with a surgery cost reimbursement of up to $75 (plus refund of the $150 deposit) when proof of surgery is received by CARE. Surgery is required to be done within 6 months of adoption (unless they have a vet recommending otherwise).
