Meet Ellie Mae, an adorable female puppy. Ellie is a border collie mix who is approximately 8 weeks old (best estimate) and will likely be a medium to large sized dog when full grown. 

Ellie is a very playful puppy who is full of energy. After playtime is over Ellie enjoys cuddling up on your lap to take a nice nap. Ellie is working on potty pad training and using her manners to not playfully bite, but is very smart and showing progress everyday. As with any other puppy, any approved adopter will need to be active and have the time, interest and financial resources to care for and raise a puppy to grow up safe, loved and healthy. 

CARE's adoption fee is $250 for dogs/puppies and $100 for cats/kittens and an additional $150 neuter deposit will be required for any animals adopted prior to their spay/neuter surgery (and the deposit will be refunded when the approved adopter brings the animal to his/her CARE vet appointment in COLUMBUS, INDIANA once scheduled). All CARE animals arrive in their forever homes current on age appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, as well as microchipped and spay/neutered (or scheduled for the same).  

CARE is an all-volunteer and foster-based rescue organization. We do not have a shelter facility and do not have any employees monitoring inbound applications and emails. Applications are reviewed by each animal’s volunteer foster home. It may be several days before you hear from this animal’s foster home.
