Description:
Yogi and his brother are new to CARE - both arrived very scared and underweight, but are working on socializing, playing and packing on a few pounds. Our best guess is that he is a border collie mix and will be medium to large sized when full grown. He is currently around 10 pounds and his estimated date of birth is 9/1/2020. We do not have any info about his parents -he was found as a sad, hungry stray baby.  As with any puppy, he will need an active and patient home dedicated to positive reinforcement training.

CARE's adoption fee is $250 for dogs/puppies and $100 for cats/kittens and an additional $150 neuter deposit will be required for any animals adopted prior to their spay/neuter surgery (and the deposit will be refunded when the approved adopter brings the animal to his/her CARE vet appointment in COLUMBUS, INDIANA once scheduled). All CARE animals arrive in their forever homes current on age appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, as well as microchipped and spay/neutered (or scheduled for the same). CARE is an all-volunteer and foster-based rescue organization. We do not have a shelter facility and do not have any employees monitoring inbound applications and emails. Applications are reviewed by each animal’s volunteer foster home. It may be several days before you hear from this animal’s foster home.
