Description:

Meet Daisy - Daisy is a young female mix (maybe Shepherd/Boxer?) and is ready for a forever life of love! She is happily enoying her CARE volunteer foster home with new people and other dogs and doing all the things puppies love to do - play, snuggle, zoom, eat, nap and learn new adventures!

She is working on perfecting her crate training, adjusting to a regular eating schedule, and potty training. As with any young puppy, she will need a home dedicated to patient and positive reinforcement puppy training as she's learning the ropes. She is expected to be a large dog when full grown so a yard and single family residence will be required for her (she will not be a good fit for apartment living).

CARE is an all-volunteer and foster-based rescue organization. We do not have a shelter facility and do not have any employees monitoring inbound applications and emails. Applications are reviewed by each animal’s volunteer foster home. It may be several days before you hear from this animal’s foster home. Thank you for your patience and understanding as our foster volunteers work to navigate a very high volume of inbound adoption applications.

CARE's adoption fee is $250 for dogs/puppies and $100 for cats/kittens and an additional $150 neuter deposit will be required for any animals adopted prior to their spay/neuter surgery (and the deposit will be refunded when the approved adopter brings the animal to his/her CARE vet appointment in COLUMBUS, INDIANA once scheduled). All CARE animals arrive in their forever homes current on age appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, as well as microchipped and spay/neutered (or scheduled for the same). If you are interested in adopting or meeting a CARE animal, the FIRST STEP is to complete and submit an online adoption application through care.rescuegroups.org.
