Description:
Are you suffering from a lack of puppy love in your life? Well, CARE has the perfect solution for you: meet Windell! Windell arrived to CARE rescued from a hoarding situation. He could not be happier to be onward and upward to a happy, healthy forever after! Windell is in his foster home with other dogs and plenty of people working on socializing, training and playing! He is crate trained, working on perfecting his potty training, and is doing great walking on a leash already! Our best guess at this young age is that Windell is a Mountain Curr / terrier mix (he has the most adorable wiry face and eyebrows) and is estimated at about 8 weeks old. Like any young fur baby, he will need an active home with humans who are willing to invest the time and energy into patient and positive reinforcement puppy training and socializing so that he grows up to be a perfectly good boy! When full grown, he is expected to be a medium to large dog. CARE's adoption fee is $250 for dogs/puppies and $100 for cats/kittens and an additional $150 neuter deposit will be required for any animals adopted prior to their spay/neuter surgery (and the deposit will be refunded when the approved adopter brings the animal to his/her CARE vet appointment in COLUMBUS, INDIANA once scheduled). All CARE animals arrive in their forever homes current on age appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, as well as microchipped and spay/neutered (or scheduled for the same). If you are interested in adopting or meeting a CARE animal, the FIRST STEP is to complete and submit an online adoption application through care.rescuegroups.org. CARE is an all-volunteer and foster-based rescue organization. We do not have a shelter facility and do not have any employees monitoring inbound applications and emails. Applications are reviewed by each animal’s volunteer foster home. It may be several days before you hear from this animal’s foster home after submitting an adoption application. Thank you for your patience and understanding as our foster volunteers work to navigate a very high volume of inbound adoption applications.
