Description:
It doesn't get much better than this sweet boy's smile! :) Meet Ralphie! NOTE: At this time, Ralphie will only be approved to be adopted to a home in Central Indiana as he has a follow up appointment through CARE's vet in Columbus, Indiana to have two teeth extracted. Our best guess is that he is a Scottie/Terrier mix - he is that perfect 25 pound size with an endless heart and big, soulful eyes that will draw in and soak up all the loving attention and affection he can get. CARE's vet estimated his age right around 4.5 or 5 years old. Ralphie is in his foster home with other dogs and people and doing just wonderful! Potty trained, crate trained, and loves to meet new people. He's one very lovable little guy and can't wait to settle into his forever home. Ralphie has a congenital front left leg deformity, but has been evaluated by CARE's amazing vet and because it is congential, there is no recommended treatment. And Ralphie sure doesn't let it get him down. He may not win a marathon (and who runs besides people getting chased by bears, anyway?!), but it does not affect his ability to walk, play, cuddle, snuggle and love. And that's what really matters! Ralphie's adoption fee is $250. He has already neutered and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Ralphie has two fractured teeth that CARE is scheduling for extraction (at CARE's expense). Any approved adopter will need to bring him back for that appointment (and at which time his microchip will be placed). If you would like to meet Ralphie or apply to adopt him, the FIRST STEP in CARE's process is to complete an online application. Please visit http://care.rescuegroups.org to complete an application.
