Meet Callie!  Callie is a young female black lab and is just as sweet and happy as can be!


Callie is estimated to be between 8 and 10 months old. She is a total love and cuddler! She loves to be right by her humans.  She seems to know that she was rescued and shows uncondtitional love and gratitude to her foster family - even giving real "hugs."  Callie is working on learning to walk on a leash (probably never had that experience before coming to CARE) and her potty training is going great! She is a large dog and will need a home with a large fenced yard.  Her size and puppiness makes it possible for her to inadvertently knock over smaller children while playing - so large dog experience (and training experience) is preferred for families with small children in the home. 

CARE's adoption fee is $250 and an additional $150 neuter deposit will be required (and the deposit will be refunded when the approved adopter brings the animal to CARE's vet appointment IN COLUMBUS, INDIANA once scheduled). All CARE animals arrive in their forever homes current on age appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, as well as microchipped and spay/neutered (or scheduled for the same).

 

CARE is an all-volunteer and foster-based rescue organization. We do not have a shelter facility and employees monitoring inbound applications and emails. Applications are reviewed by each animal’s foster home. It may be several days before you hear from this animal’s foster.
