Rainey is a calm & sweet, affectionate girl with just enough of that cattle dog energy to make her a super fun dog! So far she is learning to sit, go in her crate, and come when her name is called. She loves to follow us around through the house like a tiny shadow, enjoys snuggling on the couch for a nap, loves treats and meal times, and is especially interested and excited in going outside for walks. She is fantastic on the leash and is very responsive to correction and feedback. She would probably love a home with a fenced-in yard so she can run and investigate outside without worrying about a lead or escaping. She has a lot of interest in small, fast animals such as birds and probably rabbits and squirrels. She does great with other dogs, but should be watched with cats and worked with carefully if introduced to a home with cats. She is doing okay with ours but definitely shows a lot of interest if they move too quickly. Overall she shows a ton of promise with training and is VERY sweet and eager to work for treats.
