Chi-Chi and his sister Ginger are new to our rescue they are both just as sweet as they can be. Chi-Chi is shy at first but quickly warms up to his human. He is crate trained and he is mostly house-trained. Chi-Chi has been neutered and shots are up-to-date. His favorite past-time is snuggling with his human, he is a true lap dog. If you are looking for a little lap warmer this guy is it. He walks pretty good on a leash, rides ok in the car if he can ride on your lap. he gets along with other dogs - not sure about cats but would probably be ok with them. We were told that he was 6 years old but he acts younger. Chi-Chi would do best in a home without small children. 

When Chi-Chi came to us he was heartworm positive, he has been treated but needs to go back for a check up and will need to be retested in a couple of months. While at the vet clinic he charmed the ladies - they told us he was one of the sweetest Chihuahua's that they had seen.

UPDATE:

Chi-Chi is doing GREAT! Round one of HeartWorm treatment went well. He acts like he feels really good. He goes back to the clinic in 4 weeks.  Housetraining is going really good too, having very few accidents in the house and those are on potty pads.
