Videos of Fletcher:Meet Fletcher! This handsome and smart 4 year old, 64 pound aussie/border collie mix is so playful! Fletcher enjoys going on walks, snuggling up to his humans, playing with toys, and spending time outside. He loves playing fetch with 2 chuck it balls in the yard. Fletcher is a smart cookie and already knows some commands like sit and paw. Fletcher would do best in a home where he can have all of the attention to himself. He will require slow introductions with other dogs, and will do best without having small animals like cats in the home as he tends to chase them. His perfect adopter would have experience with herding breeds and be willing to put in effort into training Fletcher into being the best boy he can be! He will thrive in an environment where there are clear and enforced boundaries and a set schedule. He is housetrained, sleeps quietly in a crate at night, and is fully vetted: neutered, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and heartworm negative. He hops right into cars and does well on trips, and loves to sploot (stretch out his back legs all the way when laying down). If Fetcher sounds like the perfect dog for you, please submit an application and we will be in touch. If you'd like more information on him, or his other adoptable friends, please visit care.rescuegroups.org. If interested in adoption complete the application and the foster will reach out to you. CARE's adoption fee is $250 for dogs/puppies. All CARE animals arrive in their forever homes current on all age appropriate vaccinations & preventatives, as well as microchipped & altered. CARE is all-volunteer & foster-based rescue organization. We do not have a shelter or facility & do not have employees monitoring inbound applications & emails. Applications are reviewed by each animal's volunteer foster home. Thank you for your patience! Other Pictures of Fletcher (click to see larger version):
