During the 10th annual Iams Home 4 the Holidays pet adoption drive our goal is to find loving, lifelong homes for more than 1 million orphaned dogs and cats through the participation of 3,000 organizations. 

What do we hope to accomplish with Iams Home 4 the Holidays this year?

The drive runs from October 1, 2008 through January 5, 2009. Our goal is 1 million adoptions.

Why is Iams Home 4 the Holidays so successful?

More families bring pets into their homes during the holidays than at any other time of year. What better gift can any of us give during the holiday season than to give a home to an orphaned animal? Nobody wants to think about an orphaned waking up behind bars on a holiday morning. In the past some shelters have discouraged families from adopting pets during the holidays, forcing them to support the puppy mill industry. Iams Home 4 the Holidays shelters work together to match the needs of the pets with the desires of the families. Everybody wins.
