Meet the CARE Board of Directors:
President
Elaine DeClue
Elaine with her CARE Alumni: Jazzy, Eric & Chase. Elaine has been in animal services for over 15 years. Before forming CARE Elaine worked at our local Humane Society as an employee for 10 years. Elaine travels to local schools and talks to students about spay/neuter and responsible pet ownership. Because
of her years working at the Humane Society and her degree in Sociology,
Elaine is very good at working with the public to educate and assist
them in learning to become responsible pet owners. Elaine also attends
several yearly conferences on animal behavior, feral cats, spay/neuter
education & awareness and several others.
Elaine is married and has three
grown children. Her youngest son is a senior at Xavier University.
Elaine stays busy by owning a local Italian restaurant, Tre Bicchieri
and running her pet sitting business, Jazzy J's Pet Sitting. Elaine has
two dogs and two cats (all rescues) and numerous fosters at any given
time.

Julie's background and degree in Finance makes her an excellent Treasurer. She has also been a long time animal advocate and combined with her education, she makes an excellent leader for CARE.
Julie is married to local artist Nick Woolls and
works full-time for Hagemeyer at Cummins. She keeps busy with her eight
dogs (yes, 8) - 2 Beagles (Minnie & Winnie), 1 Australian Shepherd

Medical Coordinator
Linda Robertson
Left: Linda with dogs Sophie & Rambo. Center & Right: Linda with her own CARE alum, Shania and Sammy. Linda
has been CARE's medical guru since our formation in 2004. Her
background as a registered nurse has helped her make the transition
from people to animals, she is responsible for our CARE medical
records, preventative health care and still finds time to foster! Linda
may beat us all in age but she is by far the most active, in addition
to volunteering with CARE she also volunteers with the Columbus
Regional Hospital, she is a member of the Senior Center, a local Red
Hat Society Chapter. She spends the rest of her busy days with her two
grown children and her five grandkids - ranging in age from Preschool
to College! Linda is married and has 3 dogs (Sophie, Shania
& Sammy - sadly Rambo recently passed away) and 2 cats (plus any
current foster animals). Linda has had a variety of pets all her life
