Description:
Fitz is young adult male Min Pin.  He was found after an unfortunate meeting with a car that left him with a broken rear leg and other injuries.  After surgery and rehab, Fitz has turned into a very loving and active little guy.  However, due to the accident, his rear leg is unusable.  He is not in any pain and it does not seem to be affecting his quality of life.  There is surgery available but the cost is out of reach of our rescue. 

Fitz loves to lay on the deck in the sun and play with toys in the house.  In the evening, he loves to snuggle and watch his favorite shows on TV.  He is house trained and crate trained.  He enjoys walking on the leash and riding in the car.  He gets along well with his foster brother and often shares a dog bed in the sun for an afternoon lap.   Fitz is very smart and knows the family routine by heart! He is so loving and fun, loves to scamper about in the morning and throw his toys in the air and catch them.  We are exposing him to more and more people and although he is apprehensive at first, he is warming more quickly and loves the attention.  He is starting to learn basic obedience commands.  He is enjoying watching the birds and chipmunks in the yard and tries to catch them!  He knows how to sit for his dinner and is getting better at "stay".  Although he barks at new people, he warms quickly and is in their lap not long after they arrive!
